BDM role - IP Surveillance - NW London - £73.5K OTE plus car - PERMANENT
| Job description: | Our client is a technology focused company based in Park Royal, NW London. They are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to help them be successful in the emerging market of IP Surveillance in Europe. Roles and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate is a recognized authority in the IP Surveillance / Camera market with a proven track record, in either sales or Business Development. The role has the following requirements: • Developing and enhancing the Go To Market strategy for the IP Surveillance product line in all aspects • Working alongside the sales teams across Europe to ensure local engagement with the strategy • Identifying and targeting key distribution and reseller partners in local markets that can be instrumental in ensuring a successful market strategy • Highlighting key market entry points – vertical or niche markets - to ensure a successful market engagement • Delivering sales presentations to internal and external audiences, including public conferences, sales meetings, channel partner events etc • Be press trained and comfortable with media exposure • An ability to prepare and execute against a sales forecast on a quarterly basis The Candidate The candidate for the role should posses the following attributes: • Have a background in data networking technologies including, wireless networking, and Ethernet switching. An overview knowledge of storage area networking technology is preferred, but not essential • Be able to demonstrate strong presentation skills, and be comfortable presenting at senior management level • Have a proven track record of achievement against sales targets • Show an ability to work in both team and virtual team environments • Routinely exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. • Demonstrate a positive and can-do attitude • Ensure that the company is always represented in a professional manner in keeping with the scope of the role. Qualifications: • Proven IP Surveillance industry experience required. • A strong technical background with sales acumen is required. • Strong presentation skills are recommended. • Excellent communication and problem resolution skills are required. • BS or MS in Computer Science preferred. Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 basic plus 50% OTE (target earnings of £73,500 p.a year 1) depending on skills plus £6,000 car allowance, pension, healthcare etc Xact Placements acts as a recruitment business and recruitment agency. |
